Following last year’s success, this event is back for 2018 with another gallop along the ‘prom’, and a jog through seaside avenues. And it’s going to be even more fun with a simplified and longer route along the seafront, and a ‘state of the art’ automated timing system so you can have your running times as soon as you cross the finishing line.
Both events take in the best of Frinton and Walton. Start and finish are on a picturesque meadow alongside Frinton Cricket Club. The Half Marathon will be a dash with a difference - up the lane from the Club to a cliff top sea view, then along the prom to Walton’s Naze Tower and back. The 2 mile Fun Run will take you up the lane from the cricket ground and onto the promenade before returning to the meadow.
