Frome Half Marathon, 10k & 5k
The Frome Half Marathon sees the famous course offering runners a big city race experience in this beautiful town and its surrounding villages. First-time half-marathoners, seasoned endurance runners, and everyone in between will find people of all paces to keep you feeling strong, as you take in the sights of this charming course.
A single 13.1 mile loop takes you from Frome Town Football Club, through two residential areas, and out into countryside lanes which offer tranquil scenes. As you head back into Frome Town Centre, the legendary Egford Hill 1 kilometre steady climb brings you to the highest point of the route! From the top of the hill, the glorious sweep downhill through the heart of Frome will set your hairs on end, with your goosebumps carrying you through to the Football Club finish line.
Hundreds of runners also take on the classic 10k distance, using the first 4.8 miles of the half marathon course before it splits and follows a loop back to the Club. The 5k uses the first 2.2 miles of the course, before it splits and also follows a loop back to the Club. A 1k Family Fun Run follows an out and back traffic free route from the Club.

I prefer not to get wet as I think it might make me hotter.
My goodness there is one major hill, you'll have to get those arms swinging to get up it AND when you get to the top there are more inclines.
Car parking is a very short distance away and plenty of it.
