Organiser's Description
This is a fun and friendly open water event for all abilities. The aquathlon is open to 13+ years and it involves a 400m open water swim followed by a 1600m run. The swim is in Astbury Mere, which is a disused quarry, and the run is on a gravel path around the Mere. The swim is wetsuit compulsory and swimmers must be able to swim 400m comfortably.
