Riders can choose from three exciting routes: the Micro, Mega, and Medio, ensuring there's an option for everyone, from beginners to seasoned cyclists. All finishers will be rewarded with a unique Haldon Heroic Medal, celebrating their achievement.
This year, the Micro route will be fully marked, while the Mega and Medio routes will be predominantly self-navigated, with downloadable GPX files available for your convenience. With free Komoot navigation included, you'll have no trouble following the path on your mobile device or Garmin. Participants can look forward to well-stocked feed stations, professional chip timing, quality cotton T-shirts (for entries three weeks before the event), and a host of other amenities, including bike and rider recovery services and full public liability insurance. The Haldon Heroic is a Gravel Ride / CX sportive on the best gravel tralls in the Haldon Forest Area.
All finishers will receive our unique Haldon Heroic Medal. For 2024 we are fully marking the Micro route (which is also the start & finish of the longer routes). However the Mega & Medio routes are predominantly self nav. We provide accurate, downloadable GPX Files compatible with most devices.
Or you can follow the route on your mobile phone using Komoot. Free Komoot navigation. is included with your entry. And the Komoot app for Garmin makes it super-easy to get the routes onto your device. We’ll also offer full technical support in advance of the event to ensure you have the correct route loaded.
