Organiser's Description
The village of Calella in the Barcelona-Maresme region, on Spain’s eastern coastline on the Mediterranean Sea, is home to one of the most spectacular race venues on the circuit. A field of 2,500+ athletes will enjoy a one-loop swim in the Mediterranean Sea that starts and finishes on the beach of Calella. The bike route heads inland on closed roads before returning to the transition area on the beach. The two-loop run heads along the coast to a turnaround at Pineda.
