IRONMAN Vitoria-Gasteiz invites you to the spectacular cultural capital of northern Spain's Basque Country, province of Álava! With over a decade of triathlon heritage, Vitoria-Gasteiz is a well-known triathlon playground, offering astonishing natural landscapes, rich culture, unforgettable Basque gastronomy, and passionate and vibrant people.

The single-loop swim takes place in beautiful Ulibarri-Gamboa lake, located in the Landa Provincial Park outside Vitoria-Gasteiz. Athletes are looking at a swim in drinking quality water and a short run into transition. The three-loop bike course truly showcases the beauty of the region of Vitoria-Gasteiz, and takes athletes through the most scenic towns of the Álava region. The four-loop run is like nothing you have ever seen. Be prepared to run in the very heart of Vioria-Gasteiz, a city that truly embraces the IRONMAN spirit. Run along the promenades and finish your race at the famous Plaza de España.
