Dubbed one of the UK's friendliest towns, Bolton is known for its iconic spectator support, incredible North West English bike course scenery, and impressive finish line in the heart of the town centre.
The beautiful lake swim takes place in Pennington Flash Country Park. Athletes will then travel from Pennington Flash to Bolton for the first few miles of the bike leg, before taking on the three-loop course, which continues through the northern countryside, past Black Dog Pub before reaching the famous Sheephouse Lane. The run begins at Queens Park and athletes will head into Bolton town centre, out and back through Queens Park, completing four loops before finishing in Victoria Square in the heart of historic Bolton.
