Poor. Labelled a central London location but ended up being quite far north. The race itself was only 9.5k which is poor considering it was sold as a 10k. No official times either - even park runs manage to give a time to everyone up and down the country each weekend and that's a free event. At nearly £30 I'm not quite sure what my money went towards - a medal and 2 slices of pizza? Staff were friendly and well organised but unfortunately won't be coming back to this event again.
We’re so sorry you had a less than satisfactory experience. We love running ourselves and always strive to deliver events that we’d enjoy participating in. Thank you for your feedback too, we will be taking it on board, discussing together prior to this years events & striving to improve in all possible areas based on your valuable feedback. We’re also sorry that we weren’t hosting an event closer to you, maybe we’ll be closer in the future if the opportunity arises. We’re sorry that your watch measure the course as 9.5K, we’ll be re-visiting this and double checking the route to ensure that the distance is absolutely correct before any future events here. We don’t offer official times as a fun running event and have tis on our FAQ page on the website. We’re aiming to take the pressure off for individuals who may be somewhat fearful of participating in serious running events and encouraging participation in running at all levels. We also recognise that any individuals that wish to have record their time can simply use their own watch for better accuracy too. We appreciate your kind comments regarding staff and organisation, it really a passion of ours & we attend other running events ourselves, so that’s lovely to hear. We hope you liked the custom medal too and at least enjoyed the pizza after running. We are sorry that you didn’t feel the value for money at the event and hope that you enjoyed the run route itself. Thanks again for your feedback and please know that it will be taken onboard to help improve all future events wherever possible. All the very best with your future running endeavours. Kindest Regards, Pizza Run
