Get ready for an exhilarating day of running at the Marple 10k Trail Race on Sunday, June 16th, 2019! Set in the picturesque surroundings of Stockport, Greater Manchester, this multi-terrain race promises an unforgettable off-road experience. The 10k course begins in the scenic Brabyns Park and incorporates beautiful sections of the Marple park run, allowing participants to soak in the stunning countryside while navigating through the charming back roads to Chadkirk and Marple Hall. Runners will enjoy crossing the iconic Marple Aqueduct before making their way back to the finish line in Brabyns Park.
In addition to the main event, there's something for the whole family with the inaugural 2k Family Fun Run, perfect for ages 4 and above on a flat and accessible course. Join us for a day filled with excitement, community spirit, and the joy of running in one of Greater Manchester's most beautiful settings!

Organiser's Description
This is a multi-terrain, mainly off-road 10k starting in Brabyns Park, Marple, Greater Manchester, utilising sections (not the muddy parts) of the Marple park run course. Leaving the Park via the canal locks, the route takes the back roads to Chadkirk, via Marple Hall, then returns to Marple along the canal, crossing the iconic Marple Aquaduct before finishing back at the start in Brabyns Park.
In addition, there will be our first 2k Family Fun Run for ages 4 and above, on a flat course
