Organized by Sportiva Events, this exciting event promises to showcase some of the best riding that Devon has to offer, featuring stunning coast road sections and the iconic climbs of Dartmoor, including the famous Haytor.
Participants can choose from four fantastic routes designed to challenge cyclists of all levels. The Inspire route spans 34 miles (57 km) with a 2,300 ft ascent, perfect for those looking for a shorter ride. The Challenge route covers 64 miles (103 km) with a 5,700 ft ascent for those seeking a medium-distance challenge. For the seasoned cyclists, the Extreme route offers a thrilling 110-mile (178 km) journey with nearly 10,000 ft of ascent. Finally, the ultimate test awaits with the Legend route, an ultra distance of 200 miles (320 km) and a staggering 20,000 ft of ascent.
Participants will enjoy a fully marked course, well-stocked feed stations, quality cotton T-shirts for early entries, medals for all finishers, and professional chip timing.

Organiser's Description
The inaugural Moor to Sea Sportive took place in 2012. After a gap of a few years it's back & we've moved it to a summer date to (almost) guarantee better weather. The Moor to Sea now incorporates our Ultra Sportive, the Dartmoor Legend.
All routes showcase some of the best riding Devon has to offer and, as the name suggests, include coast road sections & iconic Dartmoor climbs such as Haytor.
There's a choice of four routes:
- Inspire (short) route is 34 miles (57 km) with approximately 2,300 ft (700 m) of ascent.
- Challenge (medium) distance route covers 64 miles (103 km) with approximately 5,700 ft (1,700 m) of ascent.
- Extreme (long) route covers 110 miles (178 km) with almost 10,000 ft (3,000 m) of ascent
- Legend (ultra) route covers 200 miles (320km) with around 20,000ft (6,000 m) of ascent
