Organiser's Description
Triathlon with open water lake swim in the beautifully clean and sheltered Ellingham Lake. The bike leg will take in rolling terrain across the North of the New Forest (all on road); the run course is out-and-back, almost entirely off-road on good surfaces, with the occasional hill to keep it interesting! Option for novice event with a shorter swim and run. Based at Moyles Court School, Ringwood. Sprint (Novice), standard and middle distances triathlons, also standard and middle triathlon relay options, duathlon and aquabike.

Big, Slick and Fun. Last year was my first year to do a triathlon. I decided to do a Sprint version with a short open water swim in the New Forest. The whole event was well organised and friendly. Plenty of parking, very scenic cycle route, good clean open water swimming area and slightly challenging gravel tracked running route. Overall, a great introduction to triathlon and I shall be back this year (diary permitting). Go for it.
