Organiser's Description
This is a short and action packed sportive. Two routes - 70k and 105k - start together in Ghent for a quick section following the Schelde down to Oudenaarde. Here the routes split and we find the meat of the sportive - for the long route, 5 challenging climbs coming thick and fast, and 5 sections on heavy, uneven cobbles, are squeezed into 40k. The toughest are the Taaienberg, Eikenberg and Molenberg, with double digit gradients at times. The short route takes in just the Molenberg, then both come together for the final 22k sprint back to Ghent. A great start to the season.
