Open5 Adventure Races - Forest of Bowland

Slaidburn, Lancashire

24 Chapel St, Slaidburn, Clitheroe BB7 3ES, UK

Sun 10th January 2016

Organiser's Description

Mountain biking, running, navigation and adventure! Starting from the village of Slaidburn, racers are in for a real treat, with something for everyone including open moorland, forest, and low lying valley bottoms. Navigation will be key, especially if the weather is not favourable - with lots of footpaths, bridleways and forest tracks to chose from, the planners will have a lot of cards in their hands from which to deliver a superb event. Visit as many controls as you can by bike and on foot within a 5 hour time limit. You can either run or bike first, it's up to you - as long as you collect at least one bike control and one run control.
