Organiser's Description

Since the inaugural event in 2010, Outlaw Nottingham has grown into one of the UK’s most iconic long distance triathlons. In 2019, Despite growing in size and stature down the years, Outlaw Nottingham has retained its friendly, welcoming and inclusive environment. Whether you break a course record or finish at 11pm, everyone is guaranteed to receive a hero’s welcome when they cross the finish line.

The start, swim, transition and much of the run, including the finish, are all conveniently located within close proximity of each other within the National Water Sports Centre, making it the perfect event for spectators who will be able to cheer on their friends and loved ones on multiple occasions throughout the event.

Also featuring on-site camping, excellent city centre hotels nearby, plenty of car parking and family friendly activities throughout the day, Outlaw Nottingham really is the perfect event for both athletes and spectators.
What's Included

Swim Course

The swim takes place in the Regatta Lake at the National Water Sports Centre, with all participants setting off as the sun rises. The calm water and simple route makes it easy to navigate and a very short transition means you’ll be out on your bike before you know it.

The partially closed road bike course is flat and fast, with only one notable climb at mile 50 to test the legs and get you out of the saddle! The route takes you through the beautiful Nottinghamshire countryside before returning to the National Water Sports Centre.

What's Included

26.2 MILES

After climbing off your bike, you will head out onto the flat, multi-lap run course around the lake and on to the River Trent towpath. You’ll pass Trent Bridge, the City Ground, Wilford Suspension Bridge and the Victoria Embankment.

Camping is managed by the National Watersports Centre. Please visit their website for more information –
