Organiser's Description

The Paul Lavelle Foundation is hosting its third annual 10k and 5k road run, following the success of last year! The charity has been set up to raise awareness of domestic violence, in particular for male victims. We also focus on encouraging physical activity through numerous events, because of the mental benefits provided through its social and physical aspects.

Registration is at the Community Centre in Hoylake, on Merseyside. Time chips are provided, so come and set a new PB! Also a free Golden Mile Fun Run for children.

Could be better. Good atmosphere to the race and nice views. It could be organised a lot better, they ran out of pins for the numbers and the course was poorly marked, a lot of people ran past the half way mark for the 5k and started running the 10k. I would run it next but hopefully they have improved worhnmarking the course.
