Organiser's Description

Pedal for Scotland's Classic Challenge is a once-a-year opportunity to cycle from Glasgow to Edinburgh on closed roads. The 50 mile road ride attracted over 6,500 participants last year. Its huge popularity is due to the combination of a great route that uses a mixture of closed roads, quiet back roads and cycle paths, taking in Scotland’s two largest cities via stunning countryside - the perfect challenge for both regular riders and those who haven’t cycled in a while. The ride starts from Glasgow Green Park in the East end of Glasgow, on the North bank of the River Clyde, with the finish line at Murrayfield Stadium in Edinburgh.
