The route also showcases the pristine beauty of Malham Tarn, Fountains Fell, and the majestic Yorkshire 3 Peaks: Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside, and Ingleborough. With 8,507 feet of ascent, participants will be challenged and rewarded by the spectacular landscape, all while being supported at five well-placed checkpoints by the dedicated GBUltras team. A fantastic 50 mile ultra-marathon fusing together some of the finest trails in Yorkshire. Starting at the beautiful village of Malham, with trails taking in the majestic Malham Cove, the Pennine Way, the Limestone Canyon, Malham Tarn, Fountains Fell, and the wonderful Yorkshire 3 Peaks of Pen-y-Ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, before heading back to Malham via Gordale and Janet’s Foss Waterfall. This is a stunning marked route with excellentsupport from the GBUltras team over 5 checkpoints, making it a 50 mile race you’ll always remember! 8507 ft of ascent (2593m).
