This half marathon is set on the fantastic trails surrounding Penshaw Monument, and covers some of the not so well know trails on the North and South sides of the River Wear. The race has everything you would want in a race - superb views set on lovely trails. It also offers great facilities for the whole family - Herrington Park has a children's play area, woodland walks and fun trail walks.
