Race for Life London - Blackheath 5k

The Blackheath 5k course is a single lap which is mainly on grass and winds up and down the heath. The course crosses some roads around the heath, but these roads have been closed for your safety. The Blackheath course is relatively flat throughout.

Please arrive 30 to 45 minutes before your start time so that you are prepared and ready to go on time.

There will not be any water refill stations along the course so if you require water during the event, please remember to bring your own reusable water bottle already filled up. You will be able to refill this at the refill station when you finish.

The majority of the course is on short cut grass on the common with a few road crossings, and is mainly flat. Whilst there are a lot of drop kerbs on the route, there may be one crossing without one. Please note that in the case of bad weather, the grass may become boggy. This course is wheelchair accessible with assistance. There will be an accessible toilet onsite.

We are delighted to welcome spectators to Race for Life so please do bring your family and friends along to cheer you on and support you on the day.

Please bring a filled water bottle with you to your event as we're proactively managing our impact on the environment. We will be removing single use plastic bottles.
