Organiser's Description
One of the biggest reasons for taking part in this event is that Weymouth and Portland, and the rest of the South coast, have the sunniest climate in the United Kingdom! Open water swim along the famous Hamm Beach in a sheltered part of Portland Harbour; lapped bike course around the top of the Isle of Portland, with amazing views of Portland Bill lighthouse; the run is a flat, fast affair, alongside Hamm beach on the coastal path and the Rodwell Trail. Classic and sprint options from the iconic National Sailing Academy, host to the 2012 Olympic sailing events.
