It might be a 'PB ' route due to being flat but it was stressful dangerous and quite un pleasant. The fact you run back on oncoming runners ( barbed wire one side and the river the other) is just RIDICULOUS not to mention the path isn't shut so there were walkers, dog walkers, cyclists, a man pushing a wheelchair, lady pushing a buggy and also other runners who were not taking part in the 10k. The ground was Muddy and very slippery and multiple people fell over. Not sure how results will be displayed as there was no chip time. I was skeptical when the pre race emIl arrived and the map was quite literally a quick drawing . The marshals were very lovely but unfortunately it just doesn't make up for the poor organisation and dangerous route. Despite it being just up the road and a good charity I won't be taking part again.
Dear Sir/Madam, Due to heavy rain and flooding we had to change the run route on the morning of the Run. The route was safe, and to date we have had only had two complaints out of 170 finishers. Kind regards, Mark Caswell, Run Organiser

soggy Underfoot. This is my third 10k run and have to say although it was ok it was probably the least organised. Not a lot has gone into as reflected on the poor turn out of 134.

Great event. The weather was great to begin with, the route was also great with the scenic view of the river. I enjoyed it.
