Robin Hood 100

South Wheatley, Nottinghamshire

Sturton Road, South Wheatley Village Hall, Retford, Notts, DN22 9DL

Sat 14th September 2019

Organiser's Description

An exciting ultra run on good, runnable and scenic trails and towpaths. The route heads into the heart of Sherwood Forest, Robin Hood's homeland, on some of Nottinghamshire's finest and most picturesque trails. It crosses Clumber Park and passes through peaceful farmland, taking in beautiful and undiscovered sandstone villages and historical sites, before looping back towards Sherwood Forest. Relatively flat with no major climbs, just steady undulations on occasion, make it a 'fast' course and ideal for a first 100 miler. (Date tbc)
