The Run Barbados Weekend is an exhilarating three day road running event with five races along historic, scenic routes, through the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Bridgetown. The start/finish at the picturesque Bay Street Esplanade is alongside the spectacular Carlisle Bay, with over a mile of white sand lining the crystal waters of the Bay.
This exciting event has evolved into one of the premier sporting attractions on the Island, and attracts some 2,000 entries annually. The wonderful camaraderie that develops between runners over the three-day schedule results in a highly memorable experience which leads to them returning year after year. The competitors are a great mix of recreational runners of all ages, triathletes, competitive masters runners and a few elite runners.
