Salzburg Marathon

Salzburg, Austria

Salzburg Festival Hall, Austria

Sun 17th May 2020

Organiser's Description

Experience the myth of the marathon! Let the Salzburg Marathon be your project! Crown your effort over months with an outstanding running experience and reward your dedication on the finish line in front of the famous Salzburg Festival Hall!

The traditional distance leads you along a flat track and directly past the most beautiful sights of Mozart's hometown. The magnificent view of the snow-capped Alpine peaks in the South, and the fortress “Hohensalzburg“, which can be seen from almost every meter of the route, accompany you through the City centre, as well as through the quiet forest passages on the outskirts of the city. The start and finish of the marathon are in the heart of Salzburg's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, with the finish line right in front of the famous Salzburg Festival Hall.
