Get ready for an exhilarating day of cycling at the Severn Valley Women's Sportive on Sunday, August 6th, 2017, in the picturesque surroundings of Bristol, South Gloucestershire! This event is designed for riders of all levels, from seasoned cyclists to those new to the sport.

Participants can choose between two stunning routes: a shorter 28-mile ride that winds through the charming lanes near Oldbury-on-Severn, or a more adventurous 50-mile route that includes the challenging Old Down hill climb at Tockington. Both routes promise breathtaking views of the Severn Valley and scenic villages like Olveston and Littleton-upon-Severn. After the ride, cyclists can relax and enjoy a well-deserved cuppa and delicious homemade treats back at base. Join us for a day filled with camaraderie, stunning landscapes, and the joy of cycling!

Organiser's Description

Take in the beauty of the Severn Valley on two wheels; whether you're experienced or a first time rider, this sportive is for you! The route takes you out through the beautiful lanes near Oldbury-on-Severn, before bringing you back through the scenic villages of Olveston and Littleton-upon-Severn. The short 28 mile route then heads back to base for a cuppa and some home baked treats, whilst the long 50 mile route takes you out to tackle the Old Down hill climb at Tockington. Once you've caught your breath you'll be rewarded with the beautiful lanes around the historic town of Berkeley, before arriving back at HQ.
