Starley Sportive

Coventry, Warwickshire

Deeley Group, George House, Herald Avenue, Coventry, CV5 6UB

Sun 16th February 2020

Organiser's Description

A cycling sportive to recognise the contributions of Coventry based inventors John Kemp Starley and James Starley to the cycling industry. What better way to do this than getting as many people as possible out on their bikes. And the difference with the Starley Sportive is that 100% of the proceeds from the events go to charity.

The event comprises three routes: Short (28.6 miles) - an accessible ride into the Warwickshire countryside with family appeal; Long (63.2 miles) with undulating roads through Alcester twice, with a climb; Epic (86.5 miles) which extends the Long course to include Dover’s Hill in the Cotswolds.
