This triathlon starts on the Blue Flag beach at Seaburn with a straightforward swim round two buoys, staying close to the shore. This is followed by a 4 lap bike course and a single lap 5k run along the beachfront into Roker Park, and returning along the coastal path to the tram shelter. This is one of the warmest times of year for a sea swim.
