Organiser's Description

The Swim Series is open to outdoor swimmers as an event in its own right, and provides the choice of three different distances: 5km 2.5km and 1mile. The event boasts a unique and stunning swim route in Europe’s largest privately owned lake, within the beautiful grounds of Lough Cutra Castle, and is described by many as the ‘best open water swim ever completed’

All swimmers will be provided with a swimming cap and timing chip, and the races are categorised into wetsuits and non-wetsuits. Prizes will be awarded for the first place male and female competitors in each distance.

Parking

Follow the yellow event car parking signs as you approach the venue to ensure you are taken to the correct location. Car parks are free and in fields adjoining the race village so just a few minutes' walk to the venue!
