Racers will tackle 25 km of relatively flat terrain before confronting an extreme 17.2 km climb to the summit of Gaustatoppen, reaching an impressive altitude of 1,850 meters. With no on-course services available, each athlete will rely on their dedicated support crew, making this event not just a test of physical endurance but also of teamwork and determination. Only the fittest will emerge victorious in this remarkable test of strength and spirit!

Organiser's Description
Legendary Iron distance triathlon encompassing a 3.8 km fjord swim (starting in the dark off the back of a car ferry), 180 km hilly bike leg, and a marathon that ends on top of a mountain - The Gaustatoppen: i.e. 25 km fairly flat and 17.2 km with an extreme climb up to 1,850 meters. There is no on-course services, each competitor must have a support crew. Only the fittest of the fittest will survive.
