Organiser's Description
The route represents a real challenge, and is undertaken in a mountainous environment where previous experience is absolutely necessary for those taking this on.
The route involves a lot of ascent (12,000ft), and at over 29 miles in length it represents a serious undertaking for those that are well prepared. Some (Grade 1) scrambling that never gets very difficult, but on Crib Goch the exposure is significant and participants must have a good head for heights and be comfortable in the mountain environment. Yes, it’s tough, but the rewards for those that take it on are truly great. The Welsh 3000’s – one for 2022?!
