Organiser's Description

The route has been chosen because of its stunning scenery and its varied nature. It's also chosen to be a 'challenge' so it's certainly undulating, mostly uphill in various gradients for the first half, and mainly downhill for the second, with a good last push uphill! We call it 6 country miles, so it's about 10k - or thereabouts! This race isn't for your average road runner out to get a PB! There are hills, awkward trails and possibly mud to encounter! In other words, a proper trail race! This event is a major part of a weekend of great racing in the Peak District on some of the most beautiful and challenging trails in the UK. Whirlow Farm Hall in Sheffield (camping available).
