Best day ever. This event was one of the best days I’ve had for a while. Challenging but so much fun. Can’t wait to do it again. Fab atmosphere and so well organised yet maintained a relaxed atmosphere. Just so good. Thank you to all who organised/marshalled etc you are appreciated.

Loved it. My second trail run. I only entered it to justify buying the trail shoes, and because it was local, it seemed rude not to. After my first trail run battling the wind in Northumberland in the aftermath of two named storms, I have to say that despite the undulations, this was a lovely change. Sheltered in the woods most of the time, with just a short stretch of beautiful beach it was a really enjoyable run. There was only one really steep climb up a large dune, where nearly everyone walked. The rest was manageable, and I learned to trust the shoes and speed up on the down slopes to compensate. As a result, I was really pleased that my finish time was not far off what I would expect on a flat road course. Communication beforehand, directions, safety briefing and overall organisation were excellent. Spotless and plentiful portaloos, a decent coffee/cake/bacon barm truck for the spectators and really friendly and supportive marshalls. And the medal! Best ever! Thanks to all. I'll be back.

Fun, varied, challenging route. This was my first organised event run and it was a great experience. In large part thanks to the well organised staff and logistics, but also because of the excellent route. It was varied, challenging, and fun, with beautiful views of the pine forest, sand dunes, and beach throughout. Quite a few inclines and tricky paths, but that made it all the more fun. Overall, a tough course I think, but lots of fun and well worth your time and effort.

Just like school. In the 80’s I spent many a PE lesson running in the dunes. Sunday was a great day and brought back many great memories Thanks

ABSOLUTELY FABULOUS. From the volunteers to the photographer to the man with the mike, to the medal givers, the people handing out the jerseys, having water handed to me twice during the race with a smile and encouragement, to the organisation on the whole, this race was absolutely top notch!!! Even the runners themselves who I met on the day were ace! This is defo a staple in my running diet now. See you next year! And thank you!

Tiger beetle 2020. This was my first ever organised race. Loved it. Seemed well organised and I could follow what was happening with registration and bag drop etc. Everything was well communicated before hand. Route was great. Well marshalled, though last 1k was a killer with lots of steep little sandy paths 🥵
