Run your marathon in classical Vienna, where Eliud Kipchoge wants to run the first ever marathon in under two hours! Vienna is the perfect host city for thrilling events. Enjoy the Marathon, the culture and cuisine. Turn the VCM into a sightseeing tour with friends, from the start between the skyscrapers of the United Nations complex, through Vienna's most impressive modern and historic sights, over the River Danube, accompanied by the World famous melody of the Danube Waltz by Johann Strauß, to the fantastic finale on Vienna’s Ringstraße, and the finish directly in front of the Vienna Burgtheater.

The Vienna City Marathon offers two days of running events for the whole family, with a 10k, Youth and Kids' Races on Saturday, Marathon, Half Marathon and Relay Marathon on Sunday, Runners from 125 nations will be part of a great production, with the marathon as an IAAF Gold Label race. Real people, real challenge, real happiness. Anxiety, effort, pride. Enjoy your own “Theatre of Emotions” at the Vienna City Marathon.
