This is one of two races being organised by Vigo Runners under the banner of the Vigo Valentine’s “Tough Love” Series (10(ish) miles or 10(ish) kilometres) the choice is yours!!! The 10(ish)k race takes place on the same day, same time and same location. Search for Vigo Valentine’s “Tough Love” 10-ish Kilometres Race.
A proper trail / cross country run, run by runners, who like to run and run challenging runs!!! Whilst this event is in no way a fell run, it is more suitable for fell runners than fun runners. Valentine’s themed, but with a large dollop of “Tough Love”. Complete with muddy, winding trails and perched on top of the North Downs, stunning scenery plus an ascent / descent of approximately 2,800 feet. Whilst all runners are extremely welcome, we would point out that this is a 10-ish, hell-ish mile race suitable for seasoned trail / cross country runners and you enter at your own risk.
A Valentine’s prize will be awarded for the first couple to finish, plus a further prize to be awarded for the first Valentine’s couple to finish together!!!! We are also keen to offer a team prize (for male and female categories). The first three finishers, for affiliated club runners, to count..
