erhaps a near perfect example of a flat, fast, car-free marathon course. Starting from ‘The Parade' in Birchington, the route heads out West on the Viking Coastal Trail towards the ruins of Reculver Castle. The route is 6.68 mile out and back and you'll complete it four times on near dead flat tarmac and concrete. Total elevation gain is 16 feet – in total, not per out and back! Events Saturday and Sunday.
