Organiser's Description

An exciting new event comes to Devon - Wild Tri and its big brother, Wild Tri Extreme - with routes which will take participants across the bleak and stunning landscapes of Dartmoor by bike and on foot.

Wild Tri Extreme consists of a 20mile, off-road ride that skirts Meldon Reservoir, then climbs some steep ascents to the windswept heights of the Moor - and down again. The 10mile, off-road run will challenge the fittest runners, taking them up to the highest Tors on Dartmoor, across rocky terrain, bog and water course. And for those who like their sport really muddy and wet, there's a gorge scramble through rocky pools.

Wild Tri is a little less extreme, but no easy option. The 10mile, off-road cycle ride climbs some sharp and challenging ascents onto the Moor. The 5mile run hugs the eastern side of Meldon Reservoir in part, and includes sections that will test the fittest. The gorge scramble, meanwhile, also lies in wait.
