Wild Wine Run - Loughborough 5k & 10k Autumn - Trail Run

Will run for wine. Having turned up to this event as a lone runner, I was delighted to discover such a welcoming, friendly event set in such beautiful surroundings. A challenging run with alternating inclines /declines as the course, in parts, weaves up and down the rows of vines. If you pass up the wine half way round for water, then you still get rewarded with wine tasting at the end! Brilliant facilities at the start / end point, benches made of hay bales, family and dog friendly, well priced food and runner prizes aplenty! The only reason this gets a 4 is due to the run distance falling slightly short as measured by my watch (mirrored by that from others too.) Besides this, I can't wait to return and run the vines again!
