Join findarace.com for the Wirral Seaside Runs in August, the final event in a series of six monthly road races that have been taking place throughout the Spring and Summer. This flat and fast 5k run starts at Leasowe Lighthouse in Wirral, Merseyside, and follows the sea embankment to Harrison Drive near Wallasey Village. The course is officially measured and provides a great indicator of fitness and performance. Although the race is mostly on concrete, there is a short section of rough track to add some variety. Organiser's Description
The last in a popular series of six monthly road races, providing an indicator of fitness and performance through the Spring and Summer. From Leasowe Lighthouse, near Moreton, along the sea embankment to Harrison Drive, near Wallasey Village. The race is an officially measured, flat, fast, 5k run almost entirely on the concrete sea embankment, with a short section of rough track in the middle. There is usually a good wind from behind, but we can’t guarantee that for any race!
