Join us for the enchanting Wonderland Caucus Race on Friday, April 22, 2016, in the picturesque setting of Kent! This whimsical event celebrates the 150th anniversary of Lewis Carroll's beloved "Alice's Adventures in Wonderland." Participants are invited to run as far as they desire along the scenic Folkestone to Dover route, completing as many 3.85-mile loops as they wish within a fun-filled 6-hour time limit. Embrace the spirit of the story by donning your favorite fancy dress, and enjoy delightful refreshments at the Mad Hatter's Tea Party set up at the aid station. Whether you’re a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun day out, everyone is a winner at this unique race! Join us for a day of laughter, camaraderie, and magical memories.
Organiser's Description
2015 marked the 150th Anniversary of the publishing of Alice's Adventures in Wonderland, and to celebrate this we held a variation of the Caucus Race, as was first mentioned in the famous book! The event was so popular we're doing it again in 2016. The principle is that you run as far as you like, and everyone is a winner! Fancy dress is encouraged and of course there'll be a Mad Hatter's Tea Party at the aid station! Complete as many 3.85 mile loops (on the Folkestone to Dover road) as you wish in a 6hr time limit.
