Organiser's Description

Traditionally the region's first open-water triathlon of the season, this perennial favourite is held at Woodhorn Museum in the QE2 Country Park, which boasts a 16 hectare lake surrounded by developing woodland and open grasslands. Sprint and standard distances, both with relay option, with a swim in the warm, shallow freshwater lake, an undulating bike leg and scenic footpath run route. Also sprint and standard aquabike.
