Event Organiser FAQs

Answers to some of the most common questions we get asked

My Events

Why is my event not live yet?

Before events go live they are manually checked by our team. This process should be done within 48 hours although it's normally quicker. If your event is still pending after that period then get in touch.

How do I get more entries to my event?

Our research shows that your event page has the biggest impact on your sign up rate. The following all have a positive impact on sign ups so make sure to include as many as you can.

  • Multiple high quality images and a video if available
  • A course / route map
  • Displaying over 6 reviews
  • Complete information with all the details the participant needs to make their decision. FAQs are a great way to do this

Banking and Payments

Why have I not received a payment yet?

Before you receive a payment you need to add your bank detail. This is found in Settings - Payments. Once this is added you will be added to the next cycle of payments. If you have done this and did not receive a payment in the cycle you expected then get in touch. Remember that payments can take up to 7 days to get to you after the pay out date.

Reviews

I've had a review that I do not think is fair, what can I do?

For the integrity of our reviews we do not edit or remove reviews. However, if you think a review is fake or factually inaccurate then please send an email to [email protected].

How do I get more reviews of my event?

More reviews are a great way to get more entries. The best way to drive more reviews is to email participants of your events.

How do you get your reviews?

After the race we send an email to all of the people who entered. This is where most of our reviews come from. Members of findarace.com can also leave reviews for events on the site.

Refunds and transfers

How do I make a race transfer?

For now transfers can only be done by findarace although, very shortly, you will be able to make transfers direct from your dashboard.

To arrange a transfer now send an email to [email protected] including the email the booking id, the race booked and the race to transfer them to.

What is your refund and transfer policy?

Our policies mirror the event organisers. When an entrant signs up on findarace.com they agree to the Event Organisers terms and conditions. Where you offer refunds so do we and where you do not, neither do we.

Profile and notifications

How do I reset my password?

If you need to reset your password you can do this by hitting the forgotten password link on the login page.

You can also change it from your personal profile. Head to Security and add your new password.

How do I change the login details?

Login details can all be changed from within the Security section of your personal profile. You can get to your personal profile by clicking on your profile image in the top right of any page and selecting your personal page.
