Sat 17th June 2017

Organiser's Description

There can't be many more spectacular finishes to any UK ultra than that of the Conquest of Avalon. Climb to the top of Glastonbury Tor for an astonishing 360 degree view, then descend through the quirky town to the majestic ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. 30, 50 or 70 mile rusn to choose from, all of which are steeped in history and showcase the heart of the South-West; these routes display a side of the region that remains undiscovered by many. The 70 miler follows the Land's End Trail from Avebury to Glastonbury; the 50 miler starts at the wonderful Ham Hill Country Park, and follows the Leland Trail all the way to Alfred's Tower; the 30 miler follows the final 30 miles of the 50 mile route from Castle Cary to Glastonbury.
