With a new update to the integration, it's now easier than ever for Eventrac customers to get their events live and bookable on findarace.com. The integration allows event data to be sent directly to findarace and the participant data from bookings on findarace to be passed back into their eventrac account.
We've recently released some updates to the api, more detail on that below, but it's first worth recapping the original aims of the integration. It was launched in 2021, delivering two big time-saving advantages.
Event data Firstly, it saves Race Organisers time on maintaining accurate event information. Event information on Eventrac is automatically fed to your listing on findarace, updated daily.
Participant data Secondly, Organisers keep all their booking data in one place. Participant data from bookings taken on findarace is merged into the rest of your bookings within Eventrac. Because no one enjoys migrating spreadsheets manually.
Costs and flow of funds There is no additional cost to using the integration. Bookings are subject to the usual findarace and eventrac fees.
Participant payments are collected by findarace and shared via a weekly payout to the Race Organiser, less the findarace and eventrac fees.
Eventrac and ourselves are committed to maintaining and improving on the integration. A recent new release saw some useful new features.
Does it work? Yes, but don't take our word for it. More than 30 Race Organisers already use the integration. Here's what a few of them had to say about it.
The Eventrac integration works really well, I would definitely recommend it to other Eventrac Race Directors. It's easy to maintain and findarace's support is always brilliant.
David Ross, Hermes Running
To say I do nothing might be slightly over the top but I literally send one email to set them up, so itβs hardly a grind!
I had a really good uptake with some of my events earlier in the year so Iβll continue into 2025 and beyond.
Iβm always a little sceptical of these things, but itβs 100% clear I'm getting new runners I wouldnβt have otherwise got so it's working for me.
Paul Albon, Big Bear Events
Weβve been working with findarace for years now. It drives additional bookings from runners who wouldnβt otherwise know about our events and with the integration thereβs no admin required. Iβd definitely recommend it - every event should use findarace.com as part of their marketing.

New features
We're constantly developing the API, improving performance and adding new features. The latest release includes:
Products Organisers can now choose to include merchandise and other products in the checkout. Event T-shirts (including sizes and price), Buffs, silicone cups etc., can be displayed and purchased, ensuring no revenue opportunity is lost.
Age restrictions Age requirements defined in Eventrac will be pulled through the API and validated in line.
Waves The API now includes support for Waves, displayed on a dropdown menu.
BTF Race Pass Following the release of the BTF's Race Pass earlier this year, triathletes can now purchase their day license and public liability insurance cover in the findarace checkout, with the data fed directly back to the Organiser's Eventrac dashboard.
BTF Race Pass and Products, now served through the API.
