Over a year (average of 2k a day) or less than that if you want..
Using live mapping to follow the path of the lightning bolt across Brazil

We have gone virtual, but in a super cool way...
Choose a real life virtual route (UK sights or the real path of the longest ever lightning bolt across southern Brazil) earn our medallion sized medal, optional technical finishers tee and link your fitness apps

Run, Cycle, Swim or Walk the length of the longest ever recorded single lightning bolt, 700 kilometres, between now and 2022. As sports events return to action in 2021 and into 2022, log both your training activities and the real life events all towards this ultimate challenge to give yourself a achievable fitness goal for the next year.

As well as manually logging towards your accumulative distance you can connect your popular apps such as Strava or Fitbit to do this automatically - what are you waiting for?

The UK route, which takes you from the start at the Olympic Park through the Chiltern Hills, Covent Garden, Chinatown, Big Ben, the O2, London Bridge, Wembley, Richmond Park, Bushy Park, Box Hill, the South Downs, up to the Cotswolds before finishing at the Brecon Beacons.

OR you can complete the actual path of the real life lightning bolt, as it was recorded, across southern Brazil.

Use Your Favourite Apps

Log your activities on your Apple watch, Strava, Fitbit, Nike Run Club or manually. You can easily return to the app to log your activities, upload the proof and rack up your distance towards the 700 kilometre goal.

It is not all about speed, but if you are into that stuff you can compete and compare against other competitors. You can see how far you have gone and how far others have to go.

View weekly, monthly and all time leaderboards. Compare your progress against your team, those you follow or everyone. Filter the leaderboard to compare your progress against other runners, cyclists, walkers or whatever type of exercise that you do.

With one simple click you can view your progression on the live course across the UK that we have created to incentivise you. Check out key sights across Richmond Park, The South Downs and the Brecons, Wales OR southern Brazil instead.

Get Your Rewards

Just like any virtual event, we provide the stuff at the end. However our rewards are just that tiny bit more impressive. A optional high quality 100% recycled technical running t-shirt and a mega medal to add at centre spot to your current collection.

Once your final activity is logged we will send you what you have earn't. Super easy!

Afterwards we will add your finishers photo to our community board.

Fundraise Through Givengain

We have partnered with The Scoliosis Association UK who are a small charity to raise awareness for them however you are welcome to fundraise for them or any other charity of your choice.

We have teamed up with GivenGain, global non profit leaders in connecting fundraisers with charities. When you enter you can let us know what charity you plan to run for, we will connect them with GivenGain and you will be able to raise money directly for your charity of choice.
