Organiser's Description
This was a new addition to the Freebird calendar in 2018, and takes place at the Allerthorpe Lakeland Park, near York.The event stays entirely within the grounds of the Park, giving Juniors from the age of 8yrs upwards the opportunity to take part in a very safe and well organised open water event, at a stunning venue.
With the senior triathlon in the morning, and the junior aquathlon taking place straight after, the Allerthorpe Triathlon weekend offers the whole family an opportunity to enjoy and experience this exciting sport. There are 4 age categories in the junior event, 15/16 year olds are able to take part in the senior event.
