Excellent supported event. The event was so well supported by the people of Manchester - one of the best supported races I have ever done. I don’t recall any part of the race where there was not people cheering you on - great atmosphere.
Only downside was getting to car park as a lot of roads closed - which is understandable- but the guys on the closures could not give advise on alternate route to get to the official marathon parking area - and when you are out of the area you basically rely on sat nav - going round in circles. Perhaps give the marshals on road closure directions to give to public trying to find parking would be great help. Also more toilet facilities please and for warm routine people further back could not see this - perhaps more instructers to be placed as different strategic points for each start up pen.

Great Event - Amazing Support. A great race- some teething problems this year with the huge increase in runner numbers (port a loos, wave starts) however, to be expected with the step up. Great route, well organised water/feeding stations, and the people of Manchester really were amazingly supportive too!
