We are working closely with Westminster City Council and all necessary agencies on the planning of the ASICS London 10K 2021, whilst continuing to monitor all updates from the UK Government and Public Health England relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.

The health and safety of everyone involved in our events continues to be the number one priority as we look towards 2021.

Over the coming months we will continue working on plans to enable us to host the ASICS London 10K as scheduled in July 2021, in a 'Covid-secure' way. This may include a range of measures and alterations that could be in place at the event, including social distancing, staggered arrival times, pre-event health questionnaires and other safety precautions.

As we get closer to the event we will keep everyone regularly updated with all necessary information regarding any safety measures that might be in place.

Limelight Sports has provided covid-19 safety information for this event.

Race Data, Insight & Analysis

  • The ASICS London 10k is very very popular with beginners and fun runners - in the last edition of the race 98% were unaffiliated runners, with only 2% Club runners. The low number of Club runners means that it's also very slightly slower than average for a 10k. Here’s the supporting evidence and more detail of how it compares to other Half Marathons:

  • 1:01:40 Average Finish Time (all runners) - this is slower (3 mins 40 secs) than the average for a UK 10k (58:00)

  • 57:21 Average Finish Time for men at this event

  • 1:06:29 Average Finish Time for women at this event

A great event. It was a great race and very well organised. It had a party type atmosphere and water and supplements were provided. The medal was great as was the racing tee. Will do the race again.

Fantastic 10k race. From the race pack with your own bag to event day, it was fantastic. Having done Nike ‘run to the beat’, this race has sooo much more music!! Lots of loud speakers, I didn’t put my iPod on once. The route is so amazing, it keeps you going and you get some good crowds in places, as though you’re doing the London Marathon! The paper cups were superb as not only are they environmentally better, if you step on them while running, they are soft rather than digging into your trainers or slipping over on them. One thing though, I was pen G and at the start, we had no speakers therefore no music and we couldn’t hear the warm up, only see the screen which was a real shame. Other than, a brilliant, well-organised, well sign posted event and I’ll def sign up again.
