Starting at 09:30
We are working closely with Westminster City Council and all necessary agencies on the planning of the ASICS London 10K 2021, whilst continuing to monitor all updates from the UK Government and Public Health England relating to the Covid-19 pandemic.
The health and safety of everyone involved in our events continues to be the number one priority as we look towards 2021.
Over the coming months we will continue working on plans to enable us to host the ASICS London 10K as scheduled in July 2021, in a 'Covid-secure' way. This may include a range of measures and alterations that could be in place at the event, including social distancing, staggered arrival times, pre-event health questionnaires and other safety precautions.
As we get closer to the event we will keep everyone regularly updated with all necessary information regarding any safety measures that might be in place.
- A race bib with a unique runner number and the chip which records the runner's time.
- Safety pins to attach the bib to the runner's vest or t-shirt.
- A kit bag to leave your belongings at bag drop whilst you run
Join runners winding their way through Central London together. As well as seeing some of London's top landmarks, you'll also run past the True Geographical Centre of London, down closed Regent Street, the Strand and Embankment, and get the best view across the river of the London Eye. The route map for ASICS London 10K 2021 will be revealed in the months leading up to race day.
Live bands, DJs and cheering fans will keep you entertained all along the 10K route so there will be no need for headphones! Expect a mixture of music every 450m, spanning multiple genres, from reggae/funk to disco! The route will have all sorts of jam-packed entertainment and the fan hubs will keep the atmosphere alive, motivating you to the finish line.
There will be a space to store your bag whilst you run. You will receive a kit bag along with your race number, which will also contain your bag label and bag collection tab.
We will however be working across the coming months to ensure our event plans are 'Covid-secure' which may result in some modifications being made to some of the facilities available at the event.
More detailed information on this will be provided closer to the event date and will also be available in the Race Day Guide, which will be emailed to runners prior to the event.
