Organiser's Description

Join us for the 2021 return of the Aviemore Half Marathon and 10k for all, two jaw-droppingly scenic courses set amongst the atmospheric backdrop of the Cairngorm Mountains. This year's event will start and finish at Badaguish, taking you on spectacular new routes using off-road trails through the beautiful forest, loch and mountain scenery of the Glenmore Forest Park.

Course Details

Both courses use mountain and forest trails, but involve no serious ascent or descent. The routes wind amongst forest tracks with plenty of space, and staggered starts mean you won't feel crowded in.

What's Included

Included with your fee: organised race, regular aid stations, expert first aid cover, electronic chipped timing, finishers medal, toilet facilities.

How to Get There

From Aviemore, take the road heading toward Cairngorm Ski Centre. Before Loch Morlich, you'll see a sign on the left for Badaguish - take this left and continue up the long drive, a single lane road, to reach the site.

Parking

Limited ticketed parking will be available on site and shuttle buses will also be available from Aviemore - further details to follow.

Location

The event will start and finish at Badaguish in Glenmore, just outside of Aviemore.

Registration

For both events will be open on Friday 15th October at the event village at Badaguish from 4 - 7pm. Registration will also be open Saturday from 9am - 12pm and Sunday from 8am - 10am.

If for any reason you are unable to run, please notify Entry Central before Friday 8th October. No changes to entries can be made after 8th October. If you are unable to run following your registration, please return the timing chip to event HQ or Badaguish Outdoor Centre.
