Join us for the exciting Bassetlaw Bash on Saturday, October 25th, 2014, in the picturesque town of Retford, Nottinghamshire! This vibrant multi-terrain event showcases the stunning and diverse landscapes of North Nottinghamshire, featuring scenic stretches along the Chesterfield Canal, the charming hills and strawberry fields of North Wheatley, and the breathtaking wildlife reserves at the Idle Valley. Participants can choose from four fantastic distances: challenging 27 and 20-mile runs or more leisurely 12 and 6-mile walks. Not only will you enjoy a day of adventure and camaraderie, but you'll also be supporting the vital work of the Bassetlaw Hospice. Organiser's Description
This multi-terrain event takes in the attractive and varied scenery of North Nottinghamshire, including scenic and interesting lengths of the Chesterfield Canal, the rolling hills and strawberry fields around North Wheatley, the extensive wildlife and bird reserves in the flooded gravel pits of the Idle Valley, and it also passes through some lovely villages. In aid of the Bassetlaw Hospice, Retford. A choice of 4 distances – 27 and 20 mile runs, 12 and 6 mile walks.
