Baggage
We will have a secure area where you can leave your baggage. We recommend you bring as little baggage as possible. Your baggage tag is attached to your race number, you simply tear it off and attach to your bag. To collect, show your number to the baggage tent staff and they will help you find your baggage.

Toilets
Battersea Park itself has two sets of toilets, they are a little walk from the Start/Finish so ensure you take this into account. If you see a toilet on the way walking in, we recommend you use that.

Refreshments
There will be water provided on every lap of the course, and there will also be water available at the finish.

During the race
There will be marshals all around the course as well as km signs and arrows. The course is 8.5 laps on the roads/paths in the park. Please be aware that there will be spectators and members of the public using the park.

Spectators
You are free to wander around the park so you can see where the competitors will be running. It is lapped so you will see them on numerous occasions.

Results
Results will be available on www.runthrough.co.uk after the race.

Pictures
We will have a photographer taking a few snaps of the race and they will be on our Facebook page after the race so be sure to check it out and see if you can spot yourself.

  • There WILL be pedestrians on the paths. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you. Please be aware of people, cyclists and dogs.

Well staffed, bag drop great, plentiful portaloos. The flat course attracts more serious runners - not as diverse as other halfs. Couldn't hear PA instructions at start. No communal warm up. Pacers for 1.40 and 2.40 only. Biggest complaint was that course ran 0.3 miles long by my watch, which tipped me beyond the time goal I had correctly paced for. I supppse you pick up more distance if you run on the outside of the lap but this seemed excessive. The noticeable camber of the path in one orientation only for that long irritated my IT band on the stabilising leg. The water stations were very efficient but are we really still using plastic bottles in 2024? A) people only take a sip before flinging them across the field B) planet and that. I saw quite a few gel packets on the ground and felt as runners we were not encouraged to be responsible. Results & photos extremely efficient - thank you.

This was my first half marathon at Battersea Park, I found the event well organised and enjoyable. Lots of support around the course, and would recommend it. One tip, at bag drop off have an easily identifiable bag for after the race!

This was a good and well organised half marathon around a very flat and pleasant course in Battersea Park. Everything on the day went very smoothly and the facilities were fine. However the communication before the race could be improved and not left to the last minute.

Superbly organised event, very well marshalled and a friendly vibe. It was a very hot day for September (20c at the start and rising) so the shade from trees on over half the course was very welcome. Flat and fast course although due to the 8.75 laps the faster runners had to weave their through the slower runners. Excellent water station zone and supervised bag drop area. My race entry booked the day before the race (on the findarace website) didn't appear on their system but no problem being issued with my race number and having my details added. Nice medal and post race goodies and water. Recommended.

My first ever running event. All the staff were superb from runthrough and I really felt as though they had a vested interested in the fact that every runner had a good time. Couldn’t rate this event highly enough.

Really good day! A little confusing the 8.75 laps. Held at the start line for a couple of extra minutes. But amazing atmosphere 💪🏼 where can we find times?

It was a great race. Very well organized. The only little thing: I would have appreciated some water before the race. Anyway, thank you for this event.
